How can I enable Two-Factor Authentication with a Passkey on an Android device?
- Open your browser and navigate to the Koofr web app.
- In the Account menu, select Preferences.
- From the drop-down menu, choose 2-Factor Authentication.
- Tap on the Add Passkey button.
- Verify access to your Koofr account by entering your password and tapping Continue.
- Name your Passkey and tap on Create Passkey.
- A new window pops up where you can choose between Security Key NFC, Security key USB, or This Device.
If you choose Security Key NFC, place the key against the back of the device. You will see that your key has been created. Tap on Continue. Save your two-factor recovery codes in a secure location before proceeding. Tap Add to finalize the setup. After that, you will be able to use your NFC security key as the second factor for authentication.
If you choose Security Key USB, insert your USC-C to USB adapter into your device and plug your security key USB into it. Create a Security PIN, tap on Continue, and then touch the key to authenticate. After that, you will see that your key has been created. Tap on Continue. Save your two-factor recovery codes in a secure location before proceeding. Tap Add to finalize the setup. After that, you will be able to use your USB security key as the second factor for authentication.
