I’m using Authentication app for two-factor authentication on Koofr and my generated TOTP code does not work. Why?
If you are using an Authentication app and the system does not recognize your generated TOTP code when you attempt to enter it in the designated field, please check if the time on your device, where you are using the Authentication app (e.g. mobile phone), is correctly set. Time discrepancies can cause authentication issues with TOTP codes.
Another reason for TOTP codes fails to work is if you disabled two-factor authentication on Koofr, then re-enabled it, and continue to use old codes instead of new ones. The easiest solution is to disable two-factor authentication on Koofr using two-factor recovery codes, delete all old Koofr-related codes from your authentication app, and then re-enable two-step authentication on Koofr.
