What types of files can I upload to Koofr?
You can upload any type of file to Koofr. There are no limits.
Note: You can preview the majority of RAW image files (NEF, CR2, etc.) and see the thumbnails for HEIC images in Koofr. You can also see thumbnails of many popular video file formats as well as see two possible icons on top of them. The play button on the video files that are playable in the browser and a video icon on top of the video files that will be downloaded on click. The Koofr webapp supports playback of all video formats that are supported for playback in the browser.
Note: If your video is not playing (streaming) in the Koofr app, there could be multiple reasons for that:
- Video is in a format not supported by your device and cannot be played on it (different operating systems and browsers have different video format support). Learn more about video formats.
- Video is in a very high resolution and your internet connection cannot stream at a high enough speed – Koofr does not do any modifications or transcodings to the files, so video is played in the original resolution, with large videos (4K and above) this can be an issue.
