I am using the latest Koofr iOS app and iOS, but my background auto-upload is not working. What should I do?

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the Koofr iOS app, that your device is running iOS 26.4 or later, and that Low Power Mode is turned off.

If your photos and videos still do not upload in the background (the app should remain open in the background and not be fully closed), please check your Background App Refresh settings on your iOS device. Go to Settings, select General, find Background App Refresh, turn the feature off, restart your device, and then turn it back on.

Koofr needs full photo access for the background auto-upload to work.

Also make sure your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network, or that mobile data is enabled and working properly.

Note: The background uploads are dependent on Apple, and in some cases when it stops uploading it only resumes once the battery is charged to over 80% again and phone is connected to a good WiFi. It will then work on all battery levels normally. But in some cases first run won’t start if battery is not above 80%.
