Is my Safe Key transferred or stored on Koofr?
No. Your files (file names and all content included) are encrypted locally on your device with your Safe Key and salt before they are sent to your Vault. Neither your Safe key nor any other unencrypted file data or metadata is sent to or stored by Koofr. Your Safe Key is never transmitted to Koofr servers, instead, it is exclusively used inside your device’s browser/app for decrypting or encrypting content. Only you can decrypt and access your Vault files.
