How can I add a custom message to my sharing links?

You can add a custom message when sharing files and folders via public link on Koofr web or mobile apps.

If you want to add a custom message to your sharing links on Koofr web app, click on the sharing icon to open the sharing options. Select either Receive files or Send link option. Click on the Write message in the Add custom message section.

You can also add a message to sharing link in the Koofr mobile apps. Open the link editing window and tap Add message for link visitors (iOS) or tap the toggle icon next to Custom message (Android). Write the message and tap Save/OK .

Important

Your text can be up to 200 characters long. The person who opens your link will be able to see your message marked as a Message from link creator . They will also have the option to hide the message by clicking on the Message icon on the left side of the screen or on the Hide button on the right side of the screen.

This feature is available in the Koofr accounts with subscriptions.
