Downloading files from Koofr on the Web Browser
Whether you're on a Windows, macOS, or Linux device, downloading from the Koofr web interface is quick and easy. Follow these simple steps:
1. Log In to Your Koofr Account
Open your preferred web browser and open the Koofr Web App. Enter your login credentials to access your Koofr account.
2. Locate Files or Folders that you want to download
Once you're logged in, navigate through your Koofr storage and find the file or folder you want to download.
3. Select the wanted files and folders and download them
To download a single file or folder:
- Right-click the item and select Download file, or
- Select the file, click on More in the Editing menu and choose Download.
To select multiple items:
- Hoover over the file or folder and click in the checkbox of each file or folder you want to download.
- Then right-click and choose Download selected, or use the Editing menu option for Download.

4. The Download Location
Once you click download, your browser will either automatically save the file(s) to your default Downloads folder, or prompt you to choose a location—depending on your browser settings.
Note: Downloaded folders are saved as .zip files. You’ll need to extract/unzip them before accessing their contents.
Downloading files from the Koofr iOS Mobile App
While you can download individual files for offline use, it's important to note that downloading entire folders at once is not currently supported on iOS. Follow these simple steps to download files to your iPhone or iPad:
1. Open the Koofr App on Your iOS Device
Launch the Koofr app and sign in to your account if you haven’t already.
2. Navigate to Your Files
Use the app’s file browser to locate the file you want to download.
3. Download the File
Press on the file you want to download. It will open, and then you press on the Share icon at the bottom of the screen. The iOS sharing menu pops up, allowing you to press Save to Files or Save image to save the image to your Gallery.

Downloading files from the Koofr Android Mobile App
The Koofr app for Android gives you flexible options to download both individual files and entire folders directly to your mobile device for offline use.
1. Open the Koofr App on Your Android Device
Launch the Koofr app and sign in to your account if needed.
2. Locate the File or Folder
Browse your Koofr storage and find the file or folder you want to download.
3. Download Individual Files
You can download a file from Koofr by pressing and holding the file to select it (OR pressing the More options menu icon in the upper right corner of the screen and pressing Select).
A check mark will appear next to the file when it is selected.
The download icon in the upper right corner of the screen appears. Press on it to download the selected file. You can also select multiple files to download them one by one.
Note: A short press on the file will open the file if there is an application on your Android device that can open such a file type directly from the web. Otherwise, the short press will download the file as well.
Another way to download a single file to your mobile device is to press the More options icon on the right side of the file and select Download from the drop-down menu that appears.

Download Entire Folders
In the Android Koofr app, you can also download a folder by pressing on it to select it. A check mark will appear next to the folder when it is selected.
The download icon in the upper right of the screen will appear. Press on it to download the selected folder. A folder will be downloaded as a .zip file in the Downloads folder of your device.
Another way to download the entire folder to your mobile device is to press the More options icon on the right side of the file and select Download from the drop-down menu that appears.
