Just click the Connect OneDrive button and you can now log into your personal, business or education Microsoft account.
If you receive the error message Using application 'Koofr' is currently not supported for your organization (your-domain) because it is in an unmanaged state it means that the educational institution or business has not verified its domain with Microsoft. This affects the ability to connect Koofr to OneDrive. The organization’s administrator must claim domain ownership and ensure it meets Microsoft's requirements before Koofr can be linked to OneDrive.

3. Basics of using external cloud storage services in Koofr
When you connect an external cloud storage service, you want to be sure that the files you see in Koofr match those in your connected cloud storage accounts. How to do that? Observe the Updating icon in the Main toolbar. If this icon is visible, it indicates that Koofr is currently syncing with the connected service, and the file list may not yet reflect the latest changes. Once the Updating icon disappears, the synchronization is complete, and the files displayed in Koofr will accurately represent those in your connected storage.
Note: When you connect your Koofr account to your external cloud account, the files from your external cloud account are not transferred to Koofr. They are only accessible from Koofr, as long as the external cloud is connected.
Connecting your external cloud storage services to Koofr does not consume any of your Koofr storage space. This integration allows you to access and manage files from services like Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox directly through Koofr without duplicating or transferring the data, ensuring your Koofr storage quota remains unaffected.
When you delete a file or folder in Koofr, it is also removed from the connected cloud service. This ensures that your data remains consistent across all platforms. Similarly, deleting a file directly from the connected cloud service will reflect the change in Koofr.
When connecting your Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox accounts to Koofr, you can only access your files and folders. Shared files or folders from other users will not be visible in your Koofr account. If you need to manage shared files within Koofr, consider downloading them from the original cloud service and then uploading them to your Koofr account.
Please note that the Koofr desktop client is designed to synchronize files exclusively between your computer and your Koofr storage. It does not support direct synchronization with external cloud services. This limitation is due to the varying restrictions and APIs of different providers. However, you can still manage and access your files from these external services through Koofr web application. This integration allows for seamless management of your files across multiple platforms without the need for direct synchronization via the desktop client.
Koofr does not support connecting to cloud storage providers that implement client-side encryption, such as Mega and Tresorit. Integrating with these services would necessitate storing users' private passwords on Koofr's servers to facilitate file decryption, which Koofr aims to avoid to maintain user privacy. Instead, Koofr offers its client-side encryption solution called Koofr Vault. This open-source, zero-knowledge add-on allows client-side encryption, ensuring that only the user has access to the decryption keys. Koofr Vault is included in all Koofr plans.
4. How to remove a connected cloud storage service from Koofr
To remove a connected cloud storage service from Koofr without affecting your files on that service, follow these steps:

Note: Removing a service from Koofr will not delete or alter your files stored on that external service. This process ensures that while the integration is removed from Koofr, your data remains intact on the original cloud platform.
In case you want to start using Koofr exclusively and wish to transfer all your files from other cloud services, you can do so by connecting your external cloud service to Koofr, and transferring your files from the connected service to Koofr by copying or moving them.
